Anyways, I don't care enough for the NBA to pay close attention at who's going to the playoffs with what type of run. It doesn't mean shit when certain teams have the officiating on their side. Pulls all the excitment out of the game, unless you're a Laker fan. Then you just gotta deal with telling your friends you're gay.

Ever look at the ESPN power rankings? What a joke those are. I like how the Lakers have been #1 pretty much the entire season despite not always having the best record in the league.
When the Suns and Hawks had the leading records in the league, the Lakers were ranked #1 while the first 5 teams all had at least a game up on them. They also went to say that the Suns play tough teams 15 out of their first 21 away. The Lakers have played quite a few easier teams and all but like 4 of their first 21 are at home. Yet they ranked #1? ESPN couldn't get the taste of LeBron's balls out of their mouth before they dove in on Kobe's.

Just look at what happened to Houston last year. That team showed a ton of heart and got raped by officiating. Flagrant fouls were flying all over the league yet they were sure to keep Kobe's numbers low fearing he may hit the suspension limit.

A couple weeks ago one of the insider rumors were teams interested in Vick and possibly going back to Atlanta. There wasn't shit about Vick lurking around the Philly sports sites, other than he was having a quiet year. Wonder what type of shit they'll spin now that he's had some breakout games and Reid is finally using him more often. Reactionary fucks. Sports analysts annoy me.
Oh and I'm pretty sure the Atlanta coach/owner wanted Vick off the team after that shit. I believe they tried to trade him and got no offers so they just released him. After he got out of prison he was a free agent and Philly got him.
